This is a great way to still be independent and not linked to a group but having the comfort of being transported, enabling you to enjoy your tastings at your own time without worries of how you are getting home!
We had such a good time in Stellenbosch using the Vine hopper. Before we went the communication was great - we weren't sure where we'd be staying or where we needed to head back to and they were super helpful and flexible. On the day, the small buses were great, we could decided where we wanted to go, and all the guides were bright and fun and helpful. Particularly nearer the end of the day - they made sure no one was left behind! We weren't sure which route to choose but my guess is all the vineyards are good - the five we visited were! Just be careful that not all vineyards serve food, certainly not later in the day. I'd use this service again and would recommend. - Jackie
Very good activity - very pleasants trips between the different wineries, with some very helpful and arranging drivers and staff. Very much recommended!! - Antoine Esclatine
We liked the tour. You have to plan your time well, as it is quite 'stressy' when you have just 1hr per tasting. But it was fun and Marshall was really nice and fun! - Karina
We did the Southern route of the Vine hopper a couple of weeks ago. We found this a lovely way to experience the wineries of Stellenbosch. The transport gives you what you need to be able to drink as much wine as you like without having to drive, and has just enough flexibility so that you could still have some freedom of choice in terms of how long you spend at each winery. We had a mix on our trip between people who tried to see as many as possible and others who were happy to just do 1 or 2 in the day and have a leisurely time. The drivers were clear in their instructions and very polite and friendly. They also picked us up and dropped us back at our accommodation, which was very handy. Would definitely recommend if you want to spend a day exploring the wineries of Stellenbosch and don't want to drive! - Rebecca Lane
We thought the Vine Hopper service was excellent. We found that two vineyards, with lunch in between, was sufficient for us, although most people did more. It was great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel! - Brian Patterson
